Does anyone know anything about this lake ?
I am buying a house in Sachse Texas and this lake will be 8 to 10 miles from my driveway. I have a boat with a 40 hp which is rigged out for Bass fishing. We will fish for anything that bites just about (Bass, Crappie, Catfish, Bream).

Nice little lake. Water fluctuates quite a bit (about 10 feet low right now) but the fishing is generally pretty good. Crappie in particular. Duck hunting used to great but now due to hunter overcrowding, I would not even think about hunting it. Again, overall great lake, not NEAR as crowded as the likes of Lewisville, Ray Hubbard Etc.

my daughter bought a house in allen and we fished up there this spring. caught catfish and crappie all three days. i will be going back up there in the winter and spring for crappie. it is very low right now and full of trees. this keeps a lot of the speed boats on other lakes.
