Just picked up 100 shares of Apple thinking of getting a little more. What do ya'll think about Apple? I think they have a hell of a future now that they can run both OSX and Windows.

I think this delay (the second for vista) will hurt computer makers and chips companies. Many people buy computers at Christmas for gifts and this delay for a month will hurt those sales.
Stock tip...Apple will not be effected and will see a boost is sales.

I think it is a good move and a moderately safe investment. If I were were looking for another tech stock to diversify with, Apple would be it.

we just bought a new computer and we went with a mac - i have used pcs for a long time. had a Apple IIe as a kid. but the mac is great - my wife takes a lot of digital photos and iphoto works so well everything is so well thought out.

Steve Jobs said that 50% of Mac purchasers were first time Mac buyers. It would be easy for Apple to double their market share of the computers -

PC's are a thing of the past, MAC is the next generation of digital media. PC lovers convert or you will be left behind.

Another selling point,

The only way a virus can install itself on a MAC is if you TYPE IN YOUR PASSWORD, only type in your password if you are running a software update etc. No need for any of the virus scan/prevention software.
