I am not too familiar with cat fishing, but I think I know enough. I was wondering if Blue Cats come to maze as much as channels? I am thinking about trying it out? Any .02

Also, do yawl use any kind of cat fish attractant?? I heard of (kicking catfish), any good? Thanks!

Soured maze, or even unsoured maze, will bring blues in pretty much as good as channels. Especially if you do it an area consistantly. let us know how it works for you.

I used to use maze and it stunk to high heaven, made a mess, etc... I use range cubes now and find it works just as good.

do you put it in a bag or just spread it out?

Good question. Bag, or spread those cubes?

Sour range cubes? I tried just throwing range cubes out but it did not work for me?

When we fish under the 1097 bridge, we do it 2 ways. We throw out quite a few cubes on the bottom. Then I take a fish basket or chum bag and put cubes in that, tie it to the boat and drop it down about 5'. It won't take long for the bream to start swarming the bag with the range cubes. My boys love catching bream and it keeps um busy while I'm trying to catch cats. It also attracts lots of big shad and minnows. So many that you can throw the cast net and get plenty of bait.

I'm not sure if range cubes work better or worse for catfish but the 1097 bridge is like one long buffett. There's probably 500 lbs of chum droped out there on any given Saturday.
