Kayak Catfishing......Conroe Report-6/23

[Stringer]

Launched the kayak at the calge ramp around 9am. Lake was way down from the last time i was there, 1 year ago. Many many more tree stumps visable. Started off a little slow the first hour, but once I found the fish it was non-stop for about 4 hours. All fish caught on chicken liver under a cork in about 3-5' of water up next to tree stumps. Landed around 20 channel cats, no blues. Loaded up around 4pm and headed to the house. Ended up bringing 13 of them home. Already fried a few up!!!

Nope, he wasn't with me. He just turned 4 a few weeks ago. He will have his own little kayak soon enough. Here's an old video of us playing around in the surf. He was a little over 2 years old in this video.
