me and the ol lady managed to escape off from all the 5 childrens and head down to the 190 bridge at livingston. got there about 9 pm and the water was real calm. i bought some of that king kat i think it is chum and so i chummed the water. we had shrimp, worms and chicken livers. waited a few minutes and threw the ol cast net and got a few shad at a time up to about a dozen or more. bout 11 oclock the wind started to pick up. the ol lady had already caught one by then, but the bite started pickin up a little. but i tell ya, last night, all them fishes wanted for dinner was those night crawlers!! we ended up with three keepers, and some guys down the way a bit had three and were kind enough to offer them to us. i had gone down there to offer them some of our night crawlers since thats what was workin, i guess their shad was a workin too cuz they had their three. the bite stopped around 2 30 am so we debated on catchin a nap and going again just before light but we decided we had enough fish to eat tonite so we picked up our trash and some yayhoos beer bottles and other trash and ended up with a whole kitchen bag of trash and came home. thanks ya'll for reading.
