Can a person legally, without my consent, go online and pull a credit report on me? My wife and I are seperated and going through a divorce. She used my info and got one. On the credit report she found an open credit card and ran it up several thousand dollars. Has anyone ever gone through this?

Unfortunately it happens all the time. The only way for you to get any help is to file a police report and follow up with the charges for fraud and she will be arrested. Only then will the credit card company do anything for you. Also call the credit companies and put a block credit so when someone attempts to obtain a credit card or anything else it will be denied. It is a hassel when you apply for credit but it will save you in the long run. I think the credit company also charges for this service.
