Today is or was the day. the wind is light the trout are thick and if you can get off work, convince the wife, find a sitter for the kids i would get down to the water today. I used a topwater popper and the trout were hitting it so hard they were missing the fly. so went to a clouser (red and white) and picked up 2 nice trout before 7:30 a.m. then i had to come to work. I am going out again tonight i would bear to say it will be great for flyfishing for trout, jacks spanish macs and anything else that lives in the water. good luck to and get the fly rods out.............
