Hey 2 cool people, I finally found a site that I really enjoy.
Great people...great reports...great info...
I just started fishing (last year) for bull reds and big uglies, now
I'm addicted and give lots of respect to this type of fishing. I still
hit the freshwater fishing (crappie, white bass) during spawning season, but
I love hitting the coast to do some saltwater fishing (great self-therapy)..
I've seen most of the regulars on the beach, high-island area.
I fished dirty pelicans, while they were still open, met Oscar and his
boys (great family)...they introduced me (w/ the help of Fernando) to the sport of big uglies and redfish. Too bad the Bomar's lost the pier...
Now I surf fish almost every other weekend...anywhere from dirty pelicans pier to past the barricades...I'm the guy with a silver camaro that you see
on the beach (if the conditions will let me on) w/ my car sitting so low, it
really sux not having a truck...(future buy including a kayak)...
Sorry for the long intro, but I hope to met all of the high island guys and others in the future. Thanks again Oscar, now see what you got me into..
Work sux, I'd rather be fishing.....Rodney
