I think this shows a pop-off earlier this summer off LA.

I did not know that they cover that much water. I know they were hard to comeby during the winter months on the upper coast but did not think they went all the way to mexcio.

When were those tarpon tagged in Vera Cruz? If I recall correctly, Yusso once said that the tarpon fishing in Vera Cruz doesn't pick up until May. The migration hits Texas around July and some stay here through December (at least at SPI). Any ideas where can they be found in the winter and early spring? Down South, Florida, Deep water, scattered?
