looks like we have some really "favorable" weather for the Plugger tomorrow. Yea. I am thinking that there will be a shortage of 3 fish stringers at the weigh ins, but that some teams will still bring in 1 or 2 solid, maybe really big, trout.....gonna be a grind for a very few bites that you better make the most of. I figure that with all the big girls I have "quick released" lately, I am due to actually land a few?? Maybe I will only eat 1/2 the banana instead of the whole thing? (Contrary to popular thought, bananas bring good luck, not bad):)

I'll be out there tomorrow, so you go ahead and eat that whole banana and leave a few extras on your boat over night if you don't mind. And if you see any other boats at the dock in the morning, slip one onto their boat.

Bananas or no bananas, you guys are really gonna have to struggle (grind?) for those fish tommorrow. I think I'll take the weatherman's advice and watch the Olympics, LOL! Capt. I did like the "slip one onto their boat", that was funny. Good luck and I hope ya'll string some good ones.

No problem, I'll bring some extras just in case I get the opportunity to bless some other boats

Well Speckledred, how'd you do?
Maybe next event we could get some better weather. So far we are 0 for 2 with pleasant conditions. At least it was not a tourney angler that got stuck in Nassau Bay & was rescued by the helicopter -I think.

it was miserable out there. If we hadn't of finished well, I would have been upset for putting myself through that ordeal. I think that may take the case for windiest day I have ever fished...at least a tie for sure.

Don't worry, it will be the same, or so they are saying, for the Trout Series this weekend. Man I got beat on this weekend, sunday was not too bad, until the ride home...

The weather forecast for this coming weekend looks nothing compared to what we experienced last weekend. They are calling for 10-15mph out of the north for this Saturday, add another 20mph to that and you can compare it to last weekend. The wind this past weekend was brutal. I would bet the wind reached 40mph and the tide dropped 5-6’ in some areas. The tide was the lowest I have ever seen it.

Capt. Schenk,
I guess someone threw bananas in my boat because I could not even get it out of the driveway. Sounds as though it was miserable but some caught fish, my hat is off to ya. Olympics weren't bad though. Sounds like this weekend we are in for the same weather and I was planning to go.

I'll be in seadrift for the weedend warming up for baffin the following weekend. I think the wind is gonna be outta the SE for the rest of the week and almost all day saturday. Hopefully it will cooperate for us in baffin as well. I've gotten some very good reports from both areas. Y'all have fun up north; I'll be headin' south about 90mph Friday so watch out!

Yea, they changed the forcast, I hope the SE wind holds out through about 3pm Saturday.

We were headed for the coast and now rethinking that idea. Heck, lets see if the forecast changes again, sure would like to opportunity to get on the water without 30+ north winds. Hope ya'll find a tug over the weekend.
