I'm from the bluewater section of this site.....looking for the guy from veracruz. Going to be there in November and would appreciate some info on bluewater, inshore fishing sportfishing charters/Pangas charters etc..

Hey I know you guys were talking about Veracruz, but has anybody ever went to La Pesca to fish, and if you have how long does it take to drive from Brownsville. Also if you know a capitain there that is decent let me Know.

If you are talking inshore,
La pesca is netted out of fish (speck red and snook).
I have fished there in old days with much success,
but anyone i have talked with in present times
says it has not been good!
There was an article in some recent fishing/boat magazine about La Pesca with resource information.
There are tarpon there. Suggest call and talk to a quide in locale or motels for info.

Thanks for the info I wanted to go offshore for some bills or tuna. Need to find new party/fishing place. We used to go to The Sea of Cortez, but the 1500 mile drive is proving to be to long for an old guy with waaay to many kids.
