aransas bay trout

fished 5/22/04 aransas bay found lots of fresh water. Went to the end of mud island and found good water and good trout had limit 18" to 22" trout by 10am
fished shrimp under a popping cork then switched to plastic for the better trout

Do you mind me asking which end?

Also, I have heard that Rockport has much better water right now than POC. Anyone been lately? I am heading down the week of June 13.

we were fishing the south end of mud island. haven't been to poc but last weekend the water between mud island and rockport was mostly fresh. the only good live bait came from port aransas. gig em class of 76 mkk
