These two are in dispute over at the St Aug's board. Neither are mine. From the surf at Destin.

Dorsal on #1 is huge like a sandbar, but the color is so bright...
The head on #2 def looks bullish.

That sure looks like a small hook in the first one, was he actually shark fishing at the time?

Curmit- I assume he was tossing chunks for redfish.
Surfrat- It's 2 different fish. Caught sometime last week, according to Caylorray.

Sub, you're probably right about the little one being a Bull, I can't see his pecs., but otherwise,....
Huh,... last week, good 'going.

Man thats cool, i was wondering if the sharking was any good up there.
I have been going to DESTIN for 20 years and only fished it a couple of times, thinking of making a couple of shark trips this year.
SEE YA!!!!

Ok, Skip.... but why? What tips you off?

The caudal fin has trailing black edges which is characteristic of bull sharks.
The lack of the interdorsal ridge is the most obvious tip as bull sharks don't have this but the pic on top the guys hand is blocking the region to see if the the interdorsal ridge is present. But the shape of the head is apparant that the shark on top is a bull.
Over the years I have seen alot of them and you can just look at them and know what they are.
The sandbars have a round apex at the top of the dorsal. This shark has more of a point. Another tip that its a bull
Nice.. they are BOTH Bull Sharks. Nice catch guys.
