Anyone have a good clean link to a pop up stopper? Ive got all my eggs back in a row cept that one. About 60 downloads in two days, yee haw! LOL Teach me to have a back up huh!

I use Ad Muncher which is shareware. It blocks ads as well as popups. I don't even see the sponsor ads on TTMB. It has blocked over 300,000 ads and popups for me in the last year. It is free for the first 30 days. The home site is here: AD Muncher (http://www.admuncher.com/).
In advanced mode it lets you do things like anonymous surfing (directs your requests randomly through other servers).

I like PC-Cillin Internet Security by Trend Micro. Anti-virus, firewall, popup blocker and spam filter all in one for about $30 - $40. I posted up a link last week that had it on for $19. I think it's expired now, though, but keep your eye out for it.

I use Ad Muncher myself, it really works well! I picked it because it works with all browsers (I use Mozilla) not just IE. There are a bunch of them out there, and many are free. Here is a web site to see them compared:

Do yourself a favor. Quit using Internet Explorer for a browser. Use Mozilla, Firefox, or Opera. If you have to keep using IE, be sure to set your security settings up where it will be a little safer, and use SpywareBlaster, AdAware, and Spybot Search & Destroy to protect and detect the junk.

Your recent reload of your pc shows just how much damage and wasted time the spyware scourge is causing. You CAN stop it from getting on your pc, you just have to practice safe hex, and all users of the pc must be trained on how to use it on the internet safely.

I use a mozilla based browser called crazy browser that has a built in popup blocker. The only time I get a popup is when I visit Drudge. Do you guys get that ad when you go there?

I started using TREND MICRO Internet Security about a month ago, where are the setting controls for blocking pop-ups? I didn't find anything in the help files on this.
