Hello guys I really hope I can be involved with 2CRT alot, and doing so I thought of something that might help. I was thiknig 2CRT could get an EBAY account or better yet an EBAY store and we could sell any type of R/C items we need to sell. Here is the way I was thinking we could do it from all the auctions we could make the sell 20/80, 20% profit back to the seller and 80% to charity, or something like that. What are your opinions on this, would this be something that we could do, I think it would be cool.
Thanks for Reading

RH. Your not just involved with 2CRT, your a big part of 2CRT. Your one of the founding fathers of a soon to be, "leading edge group."
About the EBay idea. I dont know if we can do that or not since were not a registered "Not for Profit" organization. 501C3?
Can anybody help with this?

So even though it is just you Gary, I sounds already like this is a good idea, I think we should try this out, if we can get permission.

I not, why not just do this on our own accounts - sell items on-line, list them as charity items, disclosing who its for and what its about - its definitely one way to raise funds for the charity races coming up.
Other thoughts and ideas??

How about this idea? At the two fundraisers we had for the "Texas Open Beach Advocates", we had raffles. We put up donated items on a table with a bait bucket in front of them. Folks bought raflle tickets at variying prices. 1-5 and $10. They placed one of their tickets in the buckets of what they wanted to win. It was a heck of alot of fun.
Now that would be sweet!! Wonder if we could get a big name driver to put some thing up for auction like that? 100% proceeds go to Shriners kind of thing. GREAT idea Biff!
