When I saw the pic that what I thought of....the three stooges. These where caught on Lake Livingston about a month ago...before hurricane katrina. The biggest one has beaten my old record of 6 1/2 lb and was 7 lb. But in lenght it was smaller by 1/2 ". Maybe I didn't weigh the first one right? Oh well, just thought y'all might wanna see some fish.
I seen a post on gonzales about liver...and some kind of knot...which brought a question to my mind...how in the world would you tie a knot like that....hold a trot line and bounce around in the boat. One of my trot lines is on the trinity river (middle of lake) and it gets rough out there sometimes. Its all I can do just to get a shad on the hook.
I ll give my opinion on that subject here...liver cost $...shad are free. Liver is like trying to work slime on a hook. Shad hook pretty easy. Now the liver and panty hose thing sounds interesting, but still a little time involved. well the phones ringin so gotta run.....
