2CRT GTG - Saturday, September 3, 2005

Here is the first unofficial, official GTG (Get ToGether) for the 2CRT members! It sounds like we will be having about 3 different venues that members can hit.

1st - THRC Mini Scale is having a Mini-Z and 1/18 race out at M&M. For all those Mini Scalers in 2CRT, head out there and show your support as well as our colors!

2nd - Unofficially, some of the 2CRT members are heading up to Mike's Saturday morning to race in the 10:30 am race. For all those On-Roaders in 2CRT, head out there and show your support as well as our colors!

3rd - Unofficially, some of the same people heading to Mike's as well as others are going to hit K&M Raceway Saturday afternoon around 3:00 or 4:00 pm'ish. Others may be there a bit earlier when K&M opens at 11:00 am. For all those Off-Roaders in 2CRT, head out there and show your support as well as our colors!

There you go! Three venues and three times the fun! Go to one, go to two, or for those die-hards, hit all three! Call it a Day of Fun Filled Racing!

Badge, Flyer, Sign, Sticker. If one of these is easy to put together for you then bring it and post it at your pit area. Then get ready to do that pulling thing I talk about!!!

If your going to K&M and think your going to be late? Call ahead to sign up. If you can get ahold of anyone there then call me 713 724-4200 and I will tell them. They are going to start a rigid start time in the future. This is so getting out will be earlier and still get in 3 qualifiers.

What is the official start time for K&M Saturday? I know its open at 11 am right? But what are the start times to run/race?

I'LL be at mikes early saturday morning to watch a lilttle, then off to K&M at 11 to do some racing. See ya'll saturday

Todd's machine is put up, but he says Ross G can do a banner. Anybody know how to get hold of Ross?

With Wayne running the race you can bet he will start 6:00-6:30 if not sooner.

In light of what is going on in our community I will have to take a rain check on Saturday night racing at K&M. My church has adopted a hotel that is housing nearly 250 people and we will be doing a continual outreach for them. We have completed our needs assessment and will be delivering everything we can fill on their needs list Saturday at 5 pm. As this will be a continual thing, I invite any one that wishes to be involved to come out to Tomball and assist. I know that we all have our own way and own callings to do certain things, but remember, this is what 2CRT is built on. Reaching out, helping, caring, and seeing that others grow and don't stay knocked down. This is just as much a part of the team as any RC racing.

I may head over to the Mini Scale race before our 5 pm event Saturday, but at this time, will not be at K&M unfortunately.

Continue to keep all those effected in your thoughts and/or prayers!
