Made another trip to Conroe Friday night with my dad and a buddy. This was my dads first trip juggin' with me and it is safe to say he is hooked. We loaded up on shad at the boat ramp and got 14 jugs set out around 9:00. The bite usually hasn't started till around 10:30 but it was on as soon as the first jug hit the water. We ended up with 31 cats by 12 midnight. We had 1 at 16lbs, 2 at 15lbs, 2 at 8lbs, 1 at 7lbs and the rest averaged around 2 1/2lbs. It was a great night except for the two a-holes in the bass boat that nearly ran over us. They had the whole lake and ran within 30 yards of us while we were checkin' a jug. It was ridiculous, I guess the catfisherman get no respect. I did see the boat and the crappie hole they were fishing well enough to recognize them when I'm out again and don't think I won't have a little payback. Pics will follow in a week or so.
