Last night's news showed dramatic flood videos where three areas were hit by flash floods.
1. Maryland
2. Pennsylvania
3. New Jersey
I sure hope it didn't visit your neighborhood!
Is all OK?

All the Jersey mater plants were washed away in the flood...all 3 of them! http://www.2coolfishing.net/ttmbforum/images/icons/biggrin.gif
But we got tractor trailer loads of Carolina Maters headed toward Jersey in the morn.

We are fine!! Got alot of rain but thats about all. The bad flooding reported on National news is about 30 miles due West of here on the same route that we live on. A bridge washed out on NJ RT. 70 which is the main RT. from PA. to the Jersey shore points in Central Jersey as well as a feeder RT. to many others in Southern Jersey.
Happy to say Jerseys Bumper crop of exquisite Maters, of which we had some for dinner tonight, is fine. Can't say the same for the Strawberry Bogs though which was part of the problem of the flooding. Alot of the strawberry bogs have home made earthen dams and some of them are what failed and from then on it was a domino type thing.
Our local banks were even cut off from our Corporate Headquaters for a couple of days. It was a mess and they are saying that it will be 6 weeks before the bridge that washed out will be re-installed.
But we are fine and our fishing grounds are minus alot of PA. residents which is just Hunky Dory for most of us Jersyites. More fish and Maters to eat for us regulars. So that is the latest.
