Looking for an RC 10 GT

Any one have a used one that is not being used? My son seems to be more into the gas trucks than the aircraft that I fly. I want to buy a good used truck first to get his feet wet and if he stays into it we will graduate to more expensive stuff.

David's selling one on the THRC site. I'm not sure what shape it's in, but IMO he's asking for more than he's likely to get. I've included the link. I don't know what you want to spend, but you can get a brand spanky new RC10GT RTR Plus for $270. All you need is fuel, glow ignitor and batteries and you're in business. The "Plus" means it's the same chassis length as the Factory Team and it also comes with full ball bearings. I sold one of my GTs a few months ago and I hear it's not getting used much. I'll check and see if he might want to sell.

Sorry, forgot to post it. Now I can't find that thread. I'll go look for it again. But here's another one. This actually might be a good deal. I have a JR XR3 75 mhz FM radio that I'm about to sell so I can hook you up with a radio and receiver for cheap if you want it. Then you'd just need servos. The OS CV is a great little engine, reliable and easy to tune. I just bought a new one and it's what I'm going to race mostly. You need to swap the head, but you can get an O'Donnell for $15 and you're done. And yeah, it's a local thread.

Larry, I have the Losi version. Its the XXXNT Drake edition. I dabbled with the idea of selling it and with 3 weeks in a row of no overtime, I could be talked into it. This is the full race deal, not a RTR. I got everything needed, radio starter box, everything.

Also I would be honered to have a Flounder master like yourself as a partner in the Flounder fest. And we have fished together at one maybe 2 of the beach gatherings, but I understand at your age and the copious amounts of alchohol you could forget.

Do you have a RC battery charger for the onboard battery pack? Ill give ya good deal. This price is without the charger but incluced the Losi XXXNT Drake edition with a newly rebuilt OS CVR12. Maybe only half a gallon ran trough it. The truck is also fresh. New new A Arms, diff, outdrives some aftermarket parts like RPM diff gear etc. The truck is set up for racing, its that tight! Its got the servos and the rest of the electronics including a Airtronics CS2P radio. If you want my 3PS, add $25. Starter box with charger, glow ignighter, temp gun, 3/4ths of a gallon of Rocker Science fuel, extra tires and some parts I think, everything youll need. You wont have to add a thing.

For you, $200. Thats a good deal!

NOW! Heres the catch..... LOL The only reason I would consider selling it is, because my next two paychecks will be small and I could use the cash otherwise I wouldnt consider selling it. When my paycheck gets back to normal, Ill want to keep it. Plus youll have to come pick it up.

I need to put in the trottle servo, install the receiver and set up the radio since I had the servo in another car but I can have that done on Friday since Ill be off work. You can pick it up this weekend if you want.

We fished at the beach gatherings? I thought it was just a bunch of old guys partying! :D
