Every fish I've recently fellied have been full of milo and corn. All the fish at the 1097 brigde we have caught, over 90 within 2 weeks, have been full of milo. We've been chumming with corn and using dipbaits, beef hearts, shrimp, and livers. By the way we caught a handful of large, and I mean big, 6 in shad at the brigde with a castnet. Unbelieveable! I've caught a bunch of those big shad under the bridge this time of year also. We put some range cubes in a wire fish basket and lower it down into the water about 5-7'. After 20-30 minutes, throw the castnet out and let it sink as far as your rope allows. Those big shad like that are killer for stripers when you use them as cut bait on the bottom!
