We were fishing under 1097 last weekend and caught 43 catfish. Some were channels and blues. Week before we caught 38. Good luck at the brigde.

Darrel, hi.....my name is Tommy. I've fished saltwater all my life (mainly offshore) but have recently downsized to a nice 18' jon boat w a 90hp Yamaha and would really like to try my hand at some freshwater fishing on Lake Conroe. I live about 20 miles south of Houston so the travel isn't a concern. I've read many of your posts in the forum and just wondered if you might ever have any free time to show a guy around the lake and maybe give me some general do's and dont's. And I'm not asking for a free trip.....I'd be more than willing to pay you but I didn't know how much time you'd be able to spend with me on a normal charter. By the way......I promise not to be a green horn when it comes to holding my own fishing.......I'm just a little new to the freshwater scene. Let me know if this is something you'd be interested in. My two daughters might even want to tag along. Hope to hear from you soon. I tried sending this via a Pm but it would not allow me to....sorry.

I run a marina on the lake and would be happy to show you the lake.. Well the area's that I fish anyways. I don't know everything... but I do know a little bit about most things..lol.. just bring a map and I'll give you some starting points,, but as for the super secret spots I would have to kill you if I told you..lol..
