ALL NEW PLUGGER SERIES -
Open to guides & amateurs (1 or 2 man teams)
Sept 10, 2005- Galveston Bay – Topwater Grill (April Fools)
Oct 22, 2005 – Matagorda Bay– Matagorda Harbor
Dec 3, 2005 – Galveston Bay – Pirates Beach Marina
Feb 11, 2006 – Matagorda Bay– Harbor + Galveston Bay –weigh site TBD
( Weigh site will be located between the 2 bays)
There will be 4 Plugger events & 4 Specktacular events between fall 2005-summer 2006. The top 6 teams from each of the above 8 event will be invited to a almost free invite only tournament ($15 admin. Fee). The Plugger/Specktacular Invitational will take place in July of 2006. Prizes will be 1st place- $1,500, 2nd place -$500 Academy, 3rd – Sponsor prizes. Everyone has 8 chances to qualify for this event by finishing in the top 6 – this means 48 teams will get the invite. Prizes will be finalized by Jan 1st.
Angler of the year honors will be awarded to the angler who catches the most weight during the Plugger Series. 1 oz = 1 pt.
Note the 1st Specktacular event will be Jan 21, 2006. Other dates will be March, May, June. Dates & prizes will be finalized Jan 1st.
