Saturday, the gods were smiling on us with unbelievable weather: clear skies and no wind, went 33 mph the whole way out of Sabine. The water, although very pretty on top, was full of junk and really hurt the vis, especially down deeper. We did manage to run into some tripletail though, taking 2 on hook and line and 1 skin diving. Lots of 15" snapper caught on hook and line and again I took the biggest 3 Snapper with my speargun.
total tally for the day was 8 ARS, 3 tripletail, 1 pompano, 1 mangrove, 2 spanish mackerel and 1 king mackerel.
The mackerel, 2 of the tripletail, and 5 snapper were caught on H&L. The others were speared by yours truly.
