PINS report May 21-23

Weed Sucks.........Worked like hell to clean the lines and keep baits out. Ended up just giving up after a while.

Did manage to get some more points on the board but I won't be headed out to the beach until this weed is gone.

that sounds about how our trip was saturday lol .... we were around the 15 ... water clarity wasnt that dirty but **** that weed !!!! .... all we were catching was hardheads.... tons of them.. ive never caught so many in the surf before... between all the hardheads... we managed 3 whiting ... two which got runned out.. and got blasted by the weed even with the angle...but i agree with you skipjack.... im not heading out there again till the weed clears up a bit

I was telling Skipjack that over the weekend at SLP I was catching hardheads on live piggy perch. I think I hate them as bad as weed.

Thanks Surfrat, Those weed conditions can really wear you out. I was very tired on Sunday and I had the best sleep of my life on Sunday night.

Do you ever get the sargassum over there on the East coast?
