how do u rig it I got a jbl it came rigged but is the way it came out of the box the best way the rope on the spear looks short to me do not have much experence spear fishing

beachp, there's loads of information on this subject on www.spearboard.com (http://www.spearboard.com). Just do a search for rigging a JBL and you'll find threads with pictures and everything. If you are diving rigs, you do not want to use the rope that comes with the gun. It WILL get cut on a rig leg and you'll lose your spear. you'll want to use stainless steel cable in a riding rig with a clip that allows it to be attached to the handle of the gun.

I agree with LSUBigL on the stainless cable. That's the only way to go. Make you two wraps and get some good stainless crimps and a shock cord is optional and you will be set for da big blue!!

I like to use a quick release in stead of a riding rig. Cable is a must.
