For anyone who is interested in helping a childrens fundraiser that benefits children with handicaps called BACH, please read. My wife, son and myself have been associated with this organization for about five years and every year we help organize this event. BACH stands for (Brazoria County Association for Citizens with Handicaps) and has been providing valuable services to children with special needs for 32 years. Last year, 650 infants benefited from services which included physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech pathology, family and nutrition counseling and others. Additionally, 284 older children (as well as hundreds of infants) participated in recreation and support activities through BACH's Support Service Program. There are two fundraisers a year that help raise matching funds so that BACH can continue to provide these invaluable services to the special children in the community. You can visit there website @ www.bacheci.org (http://www.bacheci.org/) to learn more about the program and what they do for the children. What I would like to post is to see if anyone would like to buy a dinner ticket, donate anything for our Live and Silent auction, sponsorship's which include complimentary meal tickets (number of tickets depends on the amount of sponsorship) and your company's name displayed at the event and people that would like to attend to be a buyer or any combination. There are childrens activities including horse rides, clowns, moonwalk, face painting and games. The Brazoria County Sheriff's Department/Peace Officer's Association donates and cooks bar-b-que beef, chicken and sausage with all the trimmings for $10.00 a plate. The deserts are donated by the lady's from the local area churches. The event is scheduled for Saturday, August 6 starting at 5:30 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Alvin. If anyone has questions, please feel free to send me a pm or you may contact KC Strate with B.A.C.H. @ (877) 714-1766.
