Yes, I've had one for 3 years now. That should be a BIG hint!
LOL, no kidding. You got one too? I have no idea that these things were around that long. I would guess, being your a Chevy man, A Vette? Im a Ford guy thats why I got the GT. A dude at work said we should get one and run them around at lunch since I have some rubber mat. The dang little $25 car works pretty good. Its kinda bouncy on my mats and will snap roll, but its hooked up. LOL Faster than I though it would be, but Ill have to upgrade motor. I got the tires upgrade and went with really fat ones in the rear. I really dont care for the lighting kit and am thinking of ripping the board out. It just sucks up power and makes the car top heavy.

LOL. I have several, but Alyssa keeps claiming the really cool ones. They're fun to race on the tabletop. Be sure you get the newer version (teh one with a steering wheel) rather than the older ones (the ones with 4 arrow buttons), those are a PITA to drive.
Yea I got the wheel radio. And Im BAD! Im the fastest ZipZapper in the southwest. :)

Can't beleave you don't have any idea of what I have. I did pick up the fast stuff at that time too.
Arrows and Cruise on!
So far, the only guys who have Zip in their Zaps, are the over 40 crowd. :)
Humm. Thats a race...........................

Ha ha ha. Our crowd might oughta stick to scooter races at Mobility.
LOL! Theres a method to my madness. A coworker told me about them. He wants to get one and he says he can beat me. :) Im taking mine to work tomarrow and let him drive it. He will most likely pick his up on the way home. Possibly another RCer???????
Duane drove the Zipper pretty good. He has a 68 Camaro, full size, and collects Die Cast. Has a little RC helicopter and drove my ZipZap pretty good today. He said he saw a ZZ body of an old Camaro and I think he will get the car. Tomarrow Ill be setting up a track made of cardboard. The layout will be 8x8' and am thinking of setting it up in the lunchroom. I allready invited Bill Stien, another co-worker except he used to race. Back in the day he and Frosty were buds. Im curious as to if this little ZZ can turn into promotion enough to get a new racer?????????????
Bet I do my best to talk about racing! :)

I'm a bit busy for now but I'll keep watching to see how it goes.
The cardboard surface works pretty good and has alot of traction but there just wasnt enough room to wring them out. We grabbed a few thingys to use as pylons and went into the lunch room with the intention of setting up a half oval with a slolam section on the other side. The traction was great on the tile floor but we soon lost interest. Duane couldnt hang with me, so it turned into a hackfest. He couldnt hang there either. :) But it drew alot of attention. At the 2:00 break even more folks came to watch. Prolly 25 people. Several showed alot of interest and said they would get one. Im sure at least 2 guys will. Tomarrow Ill take in my Mini Z and let that rip some. That should draw the attention of the guys who thought the Zip Zap was just a toy and couldnt be bothered with that. :)
Its funny how simple it is to show the general public how much fun RC Cars are.

Use some 2" masking tape to make the track on the cardboard. Just fold it in half and then make a T (upside down) out of it and make your track.
Eric. We did that but after a couple of serious laps, we just went into "Hack Mode". :)
We've been running in the lunch room. More room. I took my MiniZ in today and it totally freeked people out how fast it was. I "Hootched" my Speedy05 and it rOcKeD! LOL Traction was poor but the drifting was cool! It beats the heck out of playing solitaire on the computer at lunch and the spectators are enjoying it as well.
(Side note, its a big lunch room and we dont get in anyones way, theres no safety issues and its cool with company policy)
But in a small way, its exposing RC to the general public and I hope it helps grow the hobby.
