So today was my first day running a REAL mod motor in my car (saber) and oh man I love this motor. Only problem was I got there with new tires and by the end of the night I was barrowing Joes foams. This brings up ALOT of questions. I was asking how much it cost to get foams. From Joe its 40 bucks. Still steep for my taste but for zspeeds its 80!!!! Makes you look like a fool not to buy from joe. But when your spending 40 bucks on wheels and tires just to stay on pace that kinda sucks. Cuz my car worked perfectly untill I strapped a mod in there and all hell broke loose. I need to go through my car again and bullet proof it which is actually kinda fun working on these lil cars. But once I get something to run on then I actually need to work on getting used to the feel. All this for the next 6 weeks Im here. Poor investment huh? lol

Josh, my question is, what are you gonna do for a motor? 'Cause I'm picking that one back up this week. Do you really need foams with your 05? You might wanna re-think that foam investment. LOL.
He's got my old fetted board now. He wants to pull full leever! LOL
Im sticking with Super Stock for now. Ill need more experiance before I try that much horsepower.
Hey Joe. I hear your gonna dump the Mango body in favor of the "Dukes of Hazzard" them. LOL
For those who havent seen this yet, this is good stuff.

Think really hard chris. But obviously If Im thinking about getting foams then Im most likely gunna be running something hotter than an 05.

Rubbers can work just as well as foams Josh.Foams are just easier to drive fast but not always faster on every track or driving style.Tabush said last night he liked the way the rubber worked better if I heard right. But again it boils down to alot of other things besides just tires. Foams are just easier to drive, set up of car not as critical
I notice a couple of Sundays too. :)

I like the way rubbers work as well. There easier to predict fatigue. But there toast after 2 runs. Not completely gone, but enough to watch you lap times get slower. Not worth it in my opinion
Awhile back when I stripped the mounting holes in my chassis where the H plate mounts, I used thin CA to tighten up the holes but made a mess. I have had tweak ever since and today I tapped out the holes to 2-56. Its worse. Since my best bet is to just get another chassis, should I go with the gold terminal one? I started searching with Reflex but couldnt find one. I cant find them anywhere online. I cant afford one right now but I just want to look it over and think about my future color scheme. Can anyone suggest a site and a general idea of the cost?
Thanks.

Thanks for the plug Gary.i was going to put it over here but its like a big deal for me to just get it up on one site.I,m learnin though.Anytime you wanna copy something over to your site please do.I,ll get it done sooner or later always I promise.I,ll get pics of the track over here to but they were to big so this site kicked em back.I,ll resize in a day or so and post em
I would of done it sooner but I didnt realize that it was one file and easy to do. Up above us, there are ~5700 members on this forum. Many check in here and I hope we can snag a few of them and get them into RC. :)
Got some new bling on the way! :)
