Robby is one of the best Catmen I have ever seen ... He constantly is on the big fish and it seems unlike a lot of us ... His fish come from many locations .. On top of that he is always promoting CPR .. I have always been very impressed , hope I get to fish with him someday ...

You can bet he didn't just rollover. But he was quite confident that he was in charge and really didn't fight hard for quite a while. My netman is a veteran and doesn't swing unless there is a sure dip.

The fish came in 3 times but typically surged off with ferocious power. I fish with 36 lb test line so he easily burned off line against the drag. The 3rd time he came in we could see he was completely tired. He was on his side with a dorsal fin held up as a sign of surrender and I lead him into the net.

The reason I keep saying he is because this was a male fish. On larger fish the head is evidently larger than the body but the red mark near the dorsal fin also reveals scars from fanning eggs last year.

Here is a pic of a Male fresh after spawning. The eggs are usually under a protective overhang and the males back is rubbed raw as it fans eggs.

Anyway I hope to find these guys girlfriends soon since they will be coming round to see the guys:D
