trouble finding a file question

Bill, Every time I change pages, I'm getting a splash screen that says windows cannot find file://c:\windows\web\iejit.htm

It will splash up twice on each page change. I was on netzero and yahoo. When I came to 2cool it has not come up. Do you have any ideas?

What did you delete? You may have to re-install IE but try this:

extract the zip file to c:\windows\web
unzip and be sure to copy not run.

I deleted my cookies, temporary internet files and the history on the internet options splash screen.

I will try the link when i get back home.

James - Did you go into Settings - View Objects when you were deleting things from within Internet Options? Also, FYI - You have to create an account on the forum above to download.

i went to tools , internet options and deleted them there by a click of a button.

I am in so many groups I never think about them my clicks go into my accounts. No big deal, they are a good group. Wayne's world is also good.
