View Full Version : Garage door problem
My garage door will only close if I hold down the switch on the wall inside the garage. The lights on the motion sensors down at the bottom are not on. How do I check those for power? The wires came loose when my maid was sweeping the corners of the garage and I don't know what wires go together. I appreciate any help. Thanks

These are low voltage, u can not hurt any thing by trying trial & error. How many places to hook them up & are the wires different colors? If not just hook them up...
Are the motion sensors lined up properly? They can easily come out of alignment when you reconnect the wires or if they were accidentally moved by the maid's sweeping.
You can also try unplugging the opener and re-plugging it in because this sometimes resets the opener.

This happens to me when my wife or kids accidently push the lock button on the remote pad in the garage. When this happends the light on the pad flashes. Just push the "lock" button and the problem is fixed.
