IT'S NOT FOR ME !!!! A buddy of mine is looking but I found 2 today (there were no Yam-a-hamers to be found), seems those babies sell like hot cakes !! Any who one was a 2002 VTX1800 for 6999.00 18,000mls. very well kept and the other is a left over from 2004 for 8100.00 it'sa 1300.Tomorrow he will offer 6500.00 cash for the 2002 and if that doesn't fly he is going to just do the deal with the 1300.
Sorry Big Habit I'm just not ready to part with my fine RoadStar!!!!

Good deal! I thought it sounded like we were going to loose a fine HD rider to the clutches of a rice rocket. Way to go Stacy for hanging tight. Habit you had it all wrong! LOL Aww Kitty Kitty!

This was the best price I could find. It involves a 12 hour drive to Mississippi and back but I still came out about a grand to the good.
Brand spankin' new....looks like the '04 1300's are going for 7499.99 and the '05's are 7999.99 (what I paid for my '04).
The 1300's handle really good and have a single pin crank which gives the bike a more loping sound but the 1800's have dual pin crank's, are fuel injected and are sickening fast (right D?...lol)

That's right Darrell my butt sits on a Yamaha RoadStar.Comfortably I might add ! You know Monty bought that bike for me on mothers day 2yrs. ago.He told me to pick any bike I wanted so I took off and headed straight for Mancuso Harley. Looked around and saw nothing that made me say WOW what a bike.I thought about the Indian but my long time biker buddies said "NO" to many things needed to be worked out first. Then it was the honda shop.Thought the GoldWing was hot but it just didn't look like a bike to me.Then I walked into the Yamaha shop and it was instant love. The new Silverado Limited edition w/white walls.Told the guy I want it.Had a sold sign on it but he said I could take that one and they would get another out of the box for this other guy who wasn't due to arrive until next week! 2hrs. later I was on the bike of my choice and riding off into the sunset.I don't care what kind of bike you ride as long as it is what you wanted and not because of some trend that say's Harley is it! In my opinoin they are over priced and about as American made as my bike is ! ...................Stacy
