This table is made of 3/4" oak plywood for the surface and 3/4" exterior grade plywood for the base, a full 1 1/2" thick. The oak ply was stained with ebony and topped off with 5 coats of helmsman spar gloss polyurethane for a durable, attractive finish. The racetrack is attached to the base sheet with wood screws to facilitate ease of removal should the cloth ever get damaged and need to be replaced. 1/4" Volara closed cell foam for the padded playing surface covered by burgandy, teflon coated, mini suited speed cloth (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ECGijWB27ys&feature=related) . 1" 65# high density foam is used for the padded rail covered by black whisper vinyl. The folding banquet table legs are rated at 1000 pounds and offer storage options when the table is not in use. They are attached to the base sheet with T-nuts and 1/4" bolts, not wimpy wood screws. Jumbo stainless steel drop in drink holders for ease of cleaning. They are large enough to accommodate a full size koozie. The padded outer rail detaches from the table to minimize possible vinyl damage while moving from room to room or house to house. There is also a heavy duty handle mounted underneath, on the balance point, to make moving it easier. I use only the best materials for building these. The materials alone cost me almost $300. I will deliver within 50 miles of League City,TX. for free.
