Used these quite extensively on the N. Carolina coastline. Caught some nice trout using these tiny things. It was a blast. Good ole' Sting Ray GRUBS. Green w/ Red flare tail was the color. Solid green was a back up. These little hunks of soft plastics were very popular in thelate 70's and early to mid 80's around Cape Hatteras, Altlantic Beach, Swansboro to Wilmington, N.C.
A little over an inch..1 1/4- 1/1/2" maybe, and w/ an appropriate jighead...attached straigh to the mainland (15#), uaually, was all ya needed. I still have some. Red flare tails have faded some but, I won't thro them away. Lot of good ole memories from out there. Almost wished I'd never have moved back to Tx in 88'. Born here, guess we'll die here!!
