Thinking about getting another park flyer. A post by Bubbaette in the electric forum up above reminded me of how fun and cheap the park flyers are!

Allthough this isnt considered a park flyer, this is what I'm working on now!

1/2A Piper Cub. The kit says I can run a 0.049" or a 0.061". I like HP!:bounce:

I have several park flyers including the new rage foam aircraft for flying indoors.
You need to go electric with the little cub it would be great and you can fly them anywhere.
Let me know when you get ready to power it I will hook you up.

I just purchased a scale version of Miss America the famed Reno racer.

81" wingspan with a gas motor Big Big Big ........I am going crazy....

Here is my latest toy. A foam version of the Yak. It weighs less than a pound with all the gear including the Lipo battery. Unlimited vertical, manuvers you never thought possible, it will hover at 1/2 throttle.
Here is a link I think you will enjoy.

Is an AMA card needed for park fliers?

Your AMA license is only good if you fly at an AMA approved field. While I have a card I fly in my back field all the time with several of my neighbors and co workers, none of them have AMA's. Flying in school yards is another option.
You must be mindful of radio interference.

Dang Larry. I've known you all this time and never realized that you were that much into RC! :D I like your plane. I wouldnt try a mid wing myself. I havent mastered trainers yet. lol I really like that butterfly. The radio is sorta cheesy though.

Hey! Bring your plane to the TOBA fundraiser! :D

I have been in this Hobby on again off again and etccc for about 15 years.

Attached are some pictures of my shop and some more toys. If you ever want to fly I will hook you up on the trainer cord. Very safe that way. I will bring one or two to the TOBA event it will be a gas. I just got the TURMOIL in today (the one in the box) it's another foam A/C.

Here is a link of some electric A/C.

Your sick bro! :D I love it! What kit is that Cub? Lemme see if I remember this right. I built the GP 1/5th scale and the 40 size Sig I think. Dude, I bet I built 30 planes and only flew 10 of them. Its weird, I just got into building them and didnt care much about flying them. Guess cause I race the cars.

Keep checking in. We need more plane guys down here. BTW, whatta you got to trade for the truck? lol That kit I started building, I wanted to get into a really small gas plane. Like a .049

I can set you up with radio, plane Gas/electric your choice ready to fly in trade for the truck. An easy park flyer electric or as toughas a nitro T-6 or mid way electric powered glider. Let me know I am still interested.

I have just the aircraft. I will have to convert it back to gas but I think I have a small gas motor for it. It flys really easy.

Larry. I would prefer gas so I dont have to buy a bunch of batt packs. And engine replacement is cheap. Its kinda nice to just haul a quart of fuel, a glow igniter and a chicken stick.
