CajunBob and I have talked this over and would be willing to donate an offshore trip for two for the cause. We do not know him, but apparently his injury is serious enough that a (or some) 2cooler think he is gonna need some support. There are, unfortunately, some stipulations we have to attach; some for safety and some out of respect for our boat.

Stipulations:

The money to pay for the gas/bait will come out of our pocket, not the Fishing For Heroes account.

The trip will leave out of Surfside and we are limited to 40-45 miles out; no black sole shoes and no alcohol allowed.

The weather must be cooperating; we will not go out in four to six foot seas, thunderstorms, etc.

The trip has no expiration date.

Everything is furnished except food, drink and fishing license/stamp.

Once Mont tells us the money has been received, we will work with you on the when.

We really prefer the bidding to start at $350.

Bidding ends on June 8th, at noon

Darlene & CajunBob,

You two are some of the most generous people on earth, Yall are putting this up for someone you don't know and out of your own pocket not to mention CajunBob is out of work too. You two are truly heros.

Thank you for your services, Matt

Thank you Matt But it is not us but people like you and 2 coolers that take care of our own. Maybe the Goverment should learn by watching us and what we all do for people. God bless

You folks gonna let this go for $500? All you are responsible for is your food, drinks and fishing license/stamp. Full day trip and one week left.

We have a 22' Cape Craft that CajunBob removed the "c's" from and is now an ape raft, that is why we are limited on the distance. On a flat, flal day we could venture a little farther, but would rather hold to what we said and err on the side of safety.

If need be I can get a bigger boat to use.

I'm dropping a check in the mail this morning. Really! Once everything has cleared Mont, I'll pm one of you and we can talk about details, but what was posted in the intro is perfectly fine by me. Safety is a very good thing. lol. Thanks to both of you for offering this up,,,,Jim
