Thats a lot of driving bro! :D
Larry, they made the landing strip longer at Scobee field for jets and large scale planes. It's about 5 miles from where I live and I just got home from there. I can solo now babY!

I see you have a four star 60. Very nice aircraft and the best to transition from a trainer. I just recently purchased a large Gee Bee.
Looks to be a handful.

I flew Sunday also, but I left Scobee at 1pm. I've got my plane in my truck so I might try to fly this evening if nothing comes up. I did leave my Superstar trainer in Rockport so I will get some air time there too when I'm not catching and cleaning :sheepy:.
Here is a picture of my Spacewalker 2 and my Goldberg Cub.

The Cub did not like the crosswind gust. The wing is fine, but it will take a lot of hours of rebuilding to get her back in the air.

See ya,

Dude, sorry to see your Cub like that. While you left to go get it I tried at least some Taxi action out to get a feel for the Kadet on the ground. As soon as I made a turn, the wind blew it over and broke the prop. I think that weekend was just the wrong weekend to fly high wing loaded planes.
Man I love that Spacewalker. Ill get me one eventually.
You gonna fly Sunday at Scobee?

Not this Sunday, I'll be flying my SuperStar 40 in Rockport for the next week. Hopefully I'll get to fly Scobee the following Sunday.
