What are these bulkheads you guys are talking about are the docks that people have built behind there houses or large cement areas protruding out into the water. I wanna catch some catfish and was just curious as to what y'all are considering bulk heads thanks.

The bulkhead is what holds the soil into the backyard of their home. There are posts or pilings driven into the
bottom of the lake and boards or even railroad ties are attached to the pilings. The bulkhead runs along the
length of the property in back. You want to anchor off and cast as close ( even hit the bulkhead) as possible
with usually a shad for bait, fish right off the bottom , then the fun begins.
I cast up into their dock area and boat slip as well. Never get out of the boat and get on anyone`s property,
for any reason. If you get caught on something and cannot break free, cut the line.
Usually I fish 4-5 feet deep, depending on where the fish are hitting. Believe me, you`ll know when you`ve
found the right depth and adjust your line for it.

Your welcome. I mean there are concrete bulkheads as well. The bulkheads I use to fish are on Lake Conroe for catfish.
