haha nice catch. I've caught a few cats on plastics while trying for bass. Here is one from a week or two ago...went ~27 inches.

Nice suprise.

I caught a 14lb yeller on a plastic worm while bass fishing. Dropped the worm straight down next to a 4x6 post in the water and he took it immediatly.

I caught another one that was a little bigger about 5 min later. I was crankin it pretty fast too!! It felt like a solid bass that just didn't want to come up. Man I was cracking up when I landed him. I've never caught this type of cat before. Mud cat maybe??

Ive cought a few on crankbaits and roadrunners. Putting things backwards, I caught my biggest bass so far which was an 11 lbs on beef liver while fishing for cats.
