Haven't had a chance to really go anywhere since finals are here, but I went out twice this week to spend a little time at Central Park pond here in College Station to release some stress. Monday I got my limit of 5 fish from the pond (limits are different than state limits) and caught and released several more. Yesterday, got 2 before the bite turned off and missed a few more while on the phone. Bacon and chicken liver accounted for the fish. They want it under a cork a few feet off the bottom.
Potlickers abound at the pond. Each time I caught a fish or missed a bite, I had a few people get into my back pocket.
All I know is I can't wait to get back to the salt. Anyone have some saltwater and a syringe? I need my fix.
