Calaveras 5/4 with Dad

I took my 84 year old Dad and a lady friend of his to Calaveras for a little fishing yesterday morning. They weren't in a real big hurry so we didn't get on the lake till around 9:30. We caught fish at the first place we tried and ended up staying there. The fishing slowed down after a bit and I normally would have tried another location, but it was a little bumpy on the lake and I didn't want to jostle around the old folks. :biggrin: We fished till noon and ended up a with a nice mess of 35 channels. All were caught shallow on DK's punch bait.

Congrats on the nice catch. Great that you are spending time with your dad. My dad is 75 and I try to spend as much time as possible with him. Those will be great memories.
