Sounds like a broken record, but truth is fishing continues to excellent on both lakes.
Calaveras- Mr. Levi got to expierence a red frenzy. Red's where schooling and he took care of business catching 5 keeping 3 before he had enough and we went whisker fishin'
Ended day with 3 reds and 25 kitties.

Friday- Tom & Chuck started the day off right with some b fast at Sunrise Cafe in Three Rivers then we proceeded to put them whooping on 50 blues by 1015 and fished for some lesser fish for a bit before calling it a day at noon. Gotta love S.Tx

Sat- I needed help with a big group of Old friends. Kenneth set it up for his buds and Ray Austin was nice to help me out. Got on fish right away and both baot fishing side by side allowed the guys to have alot of fun. Too much..Laughed alot and caught alot.

Sunday- Steve Kneuper and son Colton of NB,TX fished a father-son duo. They were bit worred since I had told them fishing had been good last couple days. thought they might get snake bit. :)
Awesome morning and good times with 50 blues.

Sunday Afternoon- Good friend and hunting outfitter Michael Marbach was down south chasing turkeys with the family and thought it'd be fun to do some Whisker fishin'. Fished form 3-530 putting 54 blues in the boat and headed back to NB
Alot fun with the boys swimming as we're reeling in fish..LOL

Monday- "Alot of Rank" Three retired Army Sergeant Majors...Cliff,Cartwright and Otis..It was Cartwright's 71st b day. Had a absolutely awesome day catching 75 blues and so many laughs. The gents had been from Vietnam to Beirut over there time..Lots of stories, more to be shared over some fresh fish and cold ones soon I'm sure.

All fish coming on Big Marv's,shad and carp fishing deep and shallow, near creek channels
Weekends are full till July, but I have many weekdays open between now and then..give me a call and let's go catching!

Dang Cliff you are still bringing them in. That Big Marv's is some good stuff. Me my wife and son fished Lake Conroe close to the house Sat. and caught 36 before it got to rough and I had to call it quits. Now I need to find some more.

Calaveras Today
John Levi returned with a vengence today. Caught just about the lake had to offer. 7 reds, 3 hybrids, 24 channels and blue.
Hell of morning before the blistering afternoon set in. OFf the water by noon.

Choke Canyon-
Fished with Angelo,Frank & Vinnie from Hutto,Tx. We had an absolute blast. we managed 75 blues by noon and took a tour for gators and wildife..wnet back in the evening and did some goo fishing from the bank with the guys, rounding out a awesome day in south texas

Sat- Rick,"Rabbit", Ron and Garret of Odessa,Tx fished two days in a row. The fellas kept me on my toes all day. They usually fish Amistad but chose Choke this year....think their hooked. Ended day around 1:15 with a 100 blues to ice down till sunday.

Sunday- We picked up where we left off. Rabbit gave me an ultimatum. Told me we had till 12 to catch a 100 before thier 7 hr drive back home...Managed to get er' done by 11:15 with another 100. The fellas took 200 fish back home!

Fish are on the move...be flexible and be willing to try a variable of depths. They are going to change soon, be ready.

Have a couple of weekdays left for 19-22nd and then some in June...Let's go Catching!

Choke Tue & Wed
Greg,Malcom, And Albert of Slidell,LA hit choke up again this month. Part one of a four day bonanza they planned.
Tue we never had to move ending the morning with 75 fish by 1100am..

Wed- High winds were there but not an issue. We were able to catch fish and take it to the house by 1130 so the fellas had a safe ride home. 75 blues again by the fellas.
Hope we can find some fish again in two weeks when the guys come back to try our luck again.
All fish on Big Marvs and shad and team catfish 5/0 hooks.
