Caught this yellow cat today and it had to be by accident, cause I sure wasn't trying to target the fish. Caught it on a button shad head, about the size of my thumb. Caught it on an anchored jug, in about 12 feet of water, on the middle hook. It took awhile to play it out and get it in the boat. I set the jug and 30 minutes later, it was on there. Not typical of yellow cat behavior, for sure.

It could have very well been that, cause I turned several little channels about 10-12 inches loose this morning on the jugs I left out there anchored. And yes, there was some twisted up messes on a couple of them jugs.

I think I am going to get set-up and show Dbullard and Stinkbait, how to pull some decent cats off the edge of that river channel.

Great job! BTW, what part of the lake are you at? We have a lake house on White Rock Creek and I was wondering how the water color is after all this rain. Won't be able to get back up there for a few weeks.

I just pulled up from Waterwod National......Around the golf course. I was fishing in that cove that borders the golf course and the water is muddy, muddy.

I think I am headed south of the 190 bridge maybe even further, towards Browders.
