Fished today with my buddies Howard Watson of Bryan and Ronny Mahan of Hearne. What a day to be fishing. Nice partly cloudy day, start at 72 degrees, 7 mph SE winds, easy shad catching, and BAM it was on.

We took 75 fish for a neighborhood fish fry by 8:45, then did catch and release until it started raining and released 51 more catfish, largest fish of the day was 4.1#, with the rain starting we had the boat on the trailer and the trailer tied down at 10:00 am straight up. I know because my alarm on my phone went off as we were leaving the parking lot and it is set for 10 am so I will add more sun block at that time, not needed today.

Awesome job congrats! I was just thinking about making it out there this weekend to fish from the pier and maybe doing a little bbq'ing.

Now that is a good time! Would Gibbons allow for a larger boat, say 22 Center Consol?
