If I do some good at calevaras on sat morning we will fish that on sunday. If I do good on Choke and it is no futher than 2 hours I may drive back sunday morning or sat night. I am open for anything. I have been married for almost 15 years and my wife has never fished or hunted with me until the weekend my boat broke down. She had so much fun she has be begging my to get the boat back so we can go again. So I will be where ever the fish are bitting. any pointers on choke where to catch the cats. Yes on the cast net..I usually ice them down from Calaveras or freeze them.
Fish creek beds and points at Choke.
Get a good topo map or use electronics to find trails from the recent spawn..

Hill Country

Well I am about to leave to finally get my boat. When I get off of work in the morning I will be headed to Choke to fish for four days. If you see this boat on the water or this truck on land stop by and give some pointers because I will most likely be needing them. Have a great weekend and wish me luck
