Hey guys, sorry for the late post, it's been a crazy week. My brother ( Saltwater Assasin ) and I took a trip out to Lake Conroe for a few days, celebrated Easter and Good Friday, in the cabins, very nice getaway !!! Well we took the boat out Thursday night and decided to do some jugging for some catfish, and hoping that we didn't have to buy any for our annual Good Friday fish fry. Well the weather was quite nice, no boat traffic, so all was well. We used different types of baits, and we even used Zote, yes the Mexican soap, and to my brothers surprise, it worked. I still can't get over that Catfish would eat a piece of cut up soap, ( yes I'm aware its mainly animal fat), still strange though !! Well anyway we cleaned up quite well, we were only on the water for about 3 hrs tops !!! We caught a huge one and another good sized one, we kept the smaller one but threw the Monster back to live another day. We had a great time. I'm not much on bragging, but these jugs my brother made are AWESOME, they don't get hung up or tangled , their reflective, and they are rigged to where the hooks and weight come off in 2 seconds. Well I hope yall enjoy the pics. Thats my brother in the pics, struggling with the big daddy !! :goldfish:

Sorry guys, wrong date on heading, we actually went on Thursday the 9th thru the 12th, that was Easter weekend. BTW, how do you edit post or post more pics on the same thread ? I looked all over and no luck. Thanks

Late or not, that's a killer report. My wife is from Monterrey and always have a few bars of ZOTE in then laundry room. Your post made me realize that this would be great fun for my son (little guy). Could you give us a little more info on the jug-lines you talked about? Sounds interesting.

Hey Rady Randy, the 3rd pic, Im assuming you meant 4th pic. Well that was the picture of the big blue we released, its kinda distorted, but it was him swimming away to hopefully someday make some more fine big blues !!
