Has anybody wondered where the cowboy went? I was starting to get lonely.
I did manage to sneek in some fishing the last couple of weekends, but decided not to post the .....results.
Seems it all started about three weekends ago. Got my jugs, caught a mess of shad, and set out to fish. went to a little spot I know and was ready. Threw out my jugs, then the shad started to spawn some, and NOTHING. NADA. NO JUGS FLAGGING. I figured it might be depth so I adjusted some...nothing...and finally after a couple of hours I gave up. 3 total cats. not enough to clean. I generally did the same thing the next day...sunday.
Then last weekend I snuck out again...so Sat. morning I got up late...been getting up everyday so I decided to sleep in one morning. So as I go to put in the boat everybody is cleaning their catfish. they are just a smilin. So sunday I get up early...the winds blowing and drizzle rain. I threw out my jugs and NOTHING. NADA. So I must be snake bitten.
Now I am really hoping this is not how my year is going to go. I remember about 3 yrs. ago I couldn't catch a fish.
Hello to everyone on the board. I am keeping my eyes on SS, GG and slime on the line.....be out on the lake with y'all.
