Somerville 4/10 and 4/11 report

Fished 4/10 with Allen Buffalo, wife Jane, and son Cody. ONce again bite was more like a nibble and hard to get the fish to take the hook in. Managed to get 27 catfish for them to cook up at their family camping trip at Rocky Creek Park.

Fished out of Overlook Somerville Marina on this weekend, and got to finally meet Capt. Wayne and others that were fishing on the dock. Good to meet and visit with you guys.

Fished on 4/11 with David Hughes and birthday boy Shawn. Shad finally started showing back up on the bank, water started at 65 degrees, North East winds. Shawn had a fish on before the second rod could be baited, and he kept on catching, largest, most, first, and last fish.

Ended the day at noon with limit of 50 nice cats up to 4.5#

Once again fish were in 2 foot water, SureShot punch bait, tight line.

Another good trip. Summerville is a nice place for catfish. I've been there before. I caught a fat one on a trot line once. Nice job!

I got the wrong name on the 4/11 trip

"Fished on 4/11 with David Hughes and birthday boy Shawn" That is actually Dawson Hughes that was catching all the fish that day, dad David had said he wanted Dawson to catch fish, he got his birthday wish. Way to go Dawson, sorry for putting the wrong name.
