Cool strong north winds blew in first of the week slowing the bite. Fished 4/8 with Philip and birthday dad Paul from Waller, very windy for holding over crappie brush piles. Managed to get 5 crappie and 9 cats for the hot grease.

ON 4/9 I fished with Wayne and Cangy of Houston. We must have gotten 200 bites that did not catch, really a light bite. Ended the day with 21 cats.
